Each time I paint my walls, I wish I had a ladder. I never get to buy it, though. I use the kitchen table, which I drag around to do the ceiling and the upper part of the walls. I also like the safety features packed with these ladders. The extra wide flared bottom seems very stable and the non-marring feet provide slip resistance. This is great, because I have no desire to break a leg or two by falling off the ladder. The smooth curved rails make climbing comfortable. If you ever climbed one of those old wooden ladders, then you know what I mean and how important this feature is to your hands.
The double-riveted steps are more durable than welded ones. I had some bad experience with welded joints that broke under pressure, so I would avoid this constructive solution when it comes to objects that are supposed to support my precious person.
Werner MT-22 telescopic ladder, as well as all other ladders in the MT Series, has the durability of a heavy duty type A1. It supports up to 300 pounds on each side. That’s great, because if you’re not heavily overweight, you can fit in some materials such as a paint bucket or some tools.
